Monotonous Matt | Matthew Pickard

Currently art director for an advertising agency in metro-Milwaukee area. Before that, a/d & designer for a Chicago firm – where I lived for 4 years. I credit my work in zines for my present trajectory.

The Past Published 5 issues of Tiny Zine. Published one issue of Persona Zine. Set-up a number shows and wrote several scene reports. Love designing fliers. Roadied on the Trademark tour. Chameleoned every archetype of punk rocker from neophyte to crusty to edger-lite to emeritus. My brother, Jake, published Alien Relay.

  • Note: The nick-name "monotonous" was coined by Troy Anderson (Madison) at Jody Mathison's house after getting drunk on several beers and root-beer schnaps. Nick Rick was there and maybe Grant? Sometime in 1988? 89? - Matthew Pickard
