The Barn

The Barn was a barn in some kid's back yard in Franklin... I think the kid was named Jim.

We had a few shows there with local and touring bands.

I know Corrupted Morals & Crummy Musicians played there.

For one of the early Barn shows, we talked about getting a porta-potty because there was no bathroom, but ever crafty, we set up a portable toilet behind a tarp with a sign that said "Bathroom" on it. The guys didn't mind going in the grass behind the barn, but I remember seeing a girl squatting down on the ground to pee and suggested she try using the toilet and she and her friend just laughed. She probably laughed so hard she peed her pants. I think we finally did rent a porta-potty at later shows. Oh, and the portable toilet? We convinced Duane to haul it back from Carbondale where we bought it from a rummage sale when we saw Plaid Retina. --Pete Prodoehl 12:37, 30 Jan 2006 (PST)
