U.S. Distress is a high energy punk band from Kenosha Wisconsin U.S.A. Have been together since 1984. Having survived a few breakups over the years always reforming and writing new material and having a beer and a laugh at the same time. Various line ups have come and gone but the current line-up is the most consistant: Murf-vocals, Tony-bass, Damon-guitar, Tommy-drums.
Being influenced by the old 70's/80's punk bands American and British, U.S. Distress have numerous tapes, eps, and a self produced LP. titleed "Isnt Life Grand" recorded in 1988. Sadly, most of this stuff is out of print. But the band has just recently recorded a new promo-demo that the band will distributing/shopping around to loads of various lables.
Over the years, the band has played with a billion punk bands locally, nationally, and internationally. Also supporting English pals U.K. Subs on numerous North American tours. U.S. Distress are positive on getting a deal and belting out more old fashioned punk rock and having a good time doing it!
