Band History
Punk band from Madison (or surrounding area...)
One Day Away was a band with 3 high school age angst ridden youth, and one mature college student (Nate Greer). Mostly played some type of east coast hardcore sounding stuff, and screamed about history and cliche political stuff. Also we (I) didn't like smoking. We lasted about two years and then split 'cause we mostly wanted to kill each other at practice. Jesse now works at Mendota Mental Hospital, Luke at a cafe here in Madison, and Nate has gone on to greater things. The last time I saw Nate he was in a crazy good jazz band and had started smoking weed (he used to be straight edge). - I'm not in a huff so much as I am sad than in all honesty i never lived up to the nickname. "Not Overly Ugly Luke" would have been more appropriate. -Luke
