Coments

  • Duane and Grant started a label called "Discontent Records" though I think Duane sort of took over as time went by. --Pete Prodoehl 10:13, 2 Jan 2006 (PST)
  • Somewhere between line-up 2 and 3, I had tried out as bass player with Todd (sorry, forgot your last name. You dated Kelly B though) in my parents garage. Todd definitely could play drums, but I was terrible bassist, even if I was a competent tuba player. I was honored that Grant had given me the opportunity to try-out. • Demise once toured in a car, an old beat up car no-less. We had the band, some equipment (drum set and guitar in trunk - borrowed everything else), plus a "roadie". We drove to South Dakota. Tim Burton 9:09, 27 Dec 2006 (PST)
  • Digging around in Disobey #6, I found this juicey nugget. It's quite humorous and it was during Demise's first tour. (Note, Tim B illustrated both covers.) Wednesday, July 8th, Demise (WI), Demise (CA), etc. at the Anti-Club. We arrived in the middle of Demise's (WI) set which was extremely energetic and very tight - it was just too bad that only one person there had never heard them before (considering there was only about 6 people in there), but he seemed to be getting into 'em pretty good. Next was the other Demise (CA). Let's see..how can I explain them? Pathetic may be the word I'm looking for. Not reallly their music (although I'm not really into Napalm Death type stuff), But their attitudes: They'd (and friends of theirs) yell, "the real Demise" - like they were the only ones who could have that name or something. The crowd they brought along sucked too – litterly bouncing off the walls and just fucking with anyone could. Demise (CA) thought this whole scene was really cool. Anyway - we had had enough and went outside to hang with our friends. Then a little bit later the other demise (CA) started giving Demise (WI) shit by saying they were going to keep their name and they guessed that Demise (WI) could too, but they were the real one - or some babyish shit like that. I mean come on... grow the fuck up! After that we left 'cause all that was left to play were metal bands. I'd say, all and all, it was definitely interesting. • I loved these guys. Eddie Van Halen jumps and a Michael Jackson cover. I caught myself singing "Don't Eat the Fruit" the other day walking through the grocery store. I went home and dug through my box of memories in search of the cassette to no avail. I was bummed. --User:JohanJ 19:47, 24 Aug 2007 (PST)
