Comments

  • The song "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" appears on the Buried tape "Leaders, Machines, and Lies" as the last song. It is not listed on the j-card though. It came about because at the time Pete was taking a guitar class at UWM and brought Grant along as a guest one day, and that was a song we did in class. Grant was the loudest in class too, belting out such classics as "If I Had a Hammer" and "Sixteen Tons" and such... --Pete Prodoehl 06:26, 19 Aug 2005 (PDT)
  • The tape "Leaders, Machines, and Lies" was not just a tape, you also got a lyric booklet (with a page about punk/the band/life from each member) a sticker, and a patch. I think the cost was $2.50. We used comic book bags and a bag sealer to close them all. (While in D.C. on tour I spent like 6 hours putting these together instead of sight-seeing.) --Pete Prodoehl 06:30, 19 Aug 2005 (PDT)
  • Grant was a busy man! At the same time Buried was around, he was also playing in Animal Farm. --Pete Prodoehl 06:30, 19 Aug 2005 (PDT)
  • The song "Hope For Us" is one of the best songs by any Milwaukee band, period. Go listen to it - if it doesn't give you chills, well, that's your problem. --Tim Burton 9:24, 27 Dec 2006 (PDT)
  • Thanks for the comment Tim! "Hope for Us" did become sort of an anthem to some people. I need to get a good recording of it online. --Pete Prodoehl 09:54, 28 Dec 2006 (PST)
  • "Hope for Us" is on a recent podcast at All Go No Slow - http://agns.libsyn.com/ Show # 67 Midwest Punk and Hardcore, Buried is on there with Negative Approach and the Necros - good company to have... --Tim Burton 07:19, 28 Dec 2006 (PST)
